Let’s go to France!

After an exhilarating day at the beach, I was about to lay my head on the pillow, when suddenly a thought popped in my head. I said to Rachel, "Wanna go to France?" A soft voice almost asleep, said "Sure!" Moments before lights out, I booked a bus trip to Biarritz, France for the day. Just like that, we traveled to another country lickety-split. When in Spain, go to France! What a beautiful city on the coast. Huge rock formations, turquoise waters and magnificent views. Our adventurous long walk from the bus station to the city was amazing. A little drizzle, enormous colorful hydrangeas like we've never seen before, cute houses and views of the beach on our way into town.
A little rest on the beach in a perfect setting was one of the best highlights for the day. An afternoon stroll through the quaint streets, browsing in stores, and more walking concluded our day. We got to our bus stop in plenty of time to rest and get back to the other bus station. Bus number 11 raced up the hill and just kept going! We were invisible. Umm, buses stop for you in Spain, but not in Biarritz. Now we were a bit anxious to get back to the station in time for the next bus. With no Uber or Lyft to call, we struck gold with a taxi ride back to the bus station. Thanks to the nice lady in a hotel who helped us.
